Kalamandapam, a Gurukulum style, school of Music and Dance is a non-profit organization based in Washington DC, upon the vision of renowned Kuchupudi Dancer and Teacher Mrinalini Sadananda.

Kalamandapam is dedicated to the teaching and promotion of performing arts of India. Classical Indian Dance in Kuchupudi Style, Carnatic Music on the Violin, Keyboard, and Yoga are taught along the classic Indian "gurukul" principles.

Smt. Mrinalini Sadananda, is today recognised internationally, as an exceptionally talented dancer of Kuchupidi Style classical indian dance, an able illustrious teacher and an excellent choreographer. Kalamandapam was founded in the Washington Metropolitan Area, where rigourous training is imparted in the theory and practice of Kuchupidi. The instituition has staged several well known group productions like the
"Bharat Sambhavam", The advent and Glory of India at the Prestigious John F Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, in Washinton DC, "Sarvam Vishnu Mayam" in Beltsville, Maryland, "Sambhavami Yuge Yuge" in Gaitherburg, Maryland, Ramayanam, the Greatest epic of all times at the Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple, Maryland... to name a few.
